Our first "Fire Fighter" bagpipes were commissioned by fire fighters in New Jersey, as a tribute to fallen comrades shortly after the tragic events of 9/11. Other makers have since copied the concept, but perhaps missed the true significance behind the design. The Fire Department ferrules, now used by some makers, were designed and first seen on a MacLellan bagpipe in 2002! The Standard "Fire Fighter" set would have the steamer fire truck ferrules, pike pole, US flag & ladder tuning slides and clover leaf caps. Additional patch designs can be incorporated. |

They arrived about 3-4 days ago. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Members of
both my band and workplace were as much in awe as I was when they had seen
them. The imitation horn fuses well with the dark blackwood and the bronze and
silver ferrules with the silver tuning pins. You had done an extraordinary job
with the Celtic cross engraving. I am incredibly pleased with the way they had
turned out and look forward to playing them. I am sure these will be in, and
passed on, in my family for some time to come. I really do look forward to
doing future business with you.
